I work as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry. Presently, I'm Director of Biostatistics at COR Therapeutics in South San Francisco, CA. For the 2 years prior to that I was Associate Director of Biostatistics at Berlex Laboratories in Richmond, CA. Before that I spent 10.5 years working for Syntex Research in Palo Alto, CA and and 4.5 years working for Knoll Pharmaceutical Company in Whippany, NJ. I started my career with a Ph.D. in Statistics from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
I'm also involved in a number of professional organizations and activities outside of work:
Secretary/Treasurer,
Executive Committee Member, and Mailing List Moderator for the ASA
(American Statistical Association) Biopharmaceutical Section
Member of several professional
organizations: ASA (National
& SF Bay Area Chapter),
WNAR (Western North American Region of the Biometrics Society),
Caucus for Women in Statistics
